It’s not too much of a stretch to consider an opportunity a burden. If it wasn’t the plan, and it doesn’t sound super fun, it’s not too much of a stretch to consider an opportunity a burden.
It was beautiful. The sun shone brightly and the water gleamed, the sand burning hot in the summer sun. It was beautiful. The waves rippled, providing relief in the sweet coolness of the blue deeps. It was beautiful.
It’s exhausting, always having something on my mind, when I really just want to sit down and relax, preferably with a cup of coffee.
The soft covers and old musty pages, crinkling quietly as the pages turn. Stories dancing, flowing, fighting, living through the words. Time passes and hours fill marked only by the silence.
